Description of Internship
Negocios Now seeks a motivated and passionate journalism intern to contribute content on key Latino community issues, including business, politics, immigration, and economic development. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and build connections with influential leaders in the Hispanic community nationwide.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and write news articles, features, and profiles related to Hispanic business and community issues.
- Conduct interviews with business leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.
- Assist in covering special programs such as Latinos 40 Under 40 and Who’s Who in Hispanic Business.
- Support the editorial team with fact-checking, editing, and content development.
- Collaborate with the social media team to promote stories across digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Interest in business, politics, and Latino community issues.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Journalism, communications, or related major preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory.
